Supporting Representative Blackburn - And Response

  • Thursday, October 4, 2018

A 4 star retired Army general endorses Representative Blackburn. A criminal defense attorney endorses Governor Bredesen.

I'll take a general's recommendation anytime over an ambulance chaser.

Mr. Jones, I also support Representative Marsha Blackburn to be our next senator.   Rep. Blackburn has a solid record of conservative positions, and actually more thought out on issues of private property rights, gun rights, and addressing health care issues.

I am a fan of her actions, and could care less about her endorsements or what other public figures think of her. I know her record.  I stand with you in support of Rep. Blackburn.

However, the attorneys that have written letters in support of Phil Bredesen are far from “ambulance chasers.”  There is a letter from a local attorney posted now, and he is so talented I hope you were not referring.  I would say that he is one of the top attorneys in this city.  Most attorneys that have written letters locally are very well written. After all, the legal business is producing documents.

Come on, we can support our candidate without downing a profession.

Vote Marsha Blackburn, I just love her.

I am neither a four-star general or an attorney, but I, too, support Marsha Blackburn for the Senate.  Now that America is once again on the upswing after eight years of stagnation under Mr. Obama, it would seem totally logical to elect a Senate candidate who is committed to supporting the Trump agenda which has led to this upswing.  On the other hand, Mr. Bredesen may have been a fine governor, but, if elected, he will be just another member of the far left Schumer coalition which, if you have been paying attention, just orchestrated one of the worst smear campaigns ever seen in a town that has seen some pretty big time smear campaigns.

The behavior of the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings was beneath contempt, but I did not notice Mr. Bredesen commenting on that. Now that it appears that Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed as the next Associate Justice on the Supreme Court, Mr. Bredesen has indicated that he would have voted to confirm Judge Kavanaugh.  You will have to forgive me, but I am going to take that pronouncement with a very large grain of salt.
