Kelly Richardson, M.D. Joins The Chattanooga Heart Institute At CHI Memorial

The Chattanooga Heart Institute at CHI Memorial announces the hiring of Kelly Richardson, M.D.  Dr. Richardson received her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.  She completed her residency and internship in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine, electrophysiology and biodesign innovation at Stanford Medical Center in Standford, Ca.  She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Cardiology and the American Board of Electrophysiology.  Originally from Chattanooga, Dr. Richardson is returning to her hometown from a cardiology practice in California.
 
"The Chattanooga Heart Institute has 27 highly-trained cardiologists - including specialists in interventional procedures, electrophysiology, imaging and vascular disease— and two cardiothoracic surgeons on staff," officials said.  "This practice offers a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach to cardiac care with a team of physicians providing recommendations on specific areas of treatment."
 
At The Chattanooga Heart Institute, cardiologists work in collaboration, aided by the latest technology, to diagnose heart problems and provide advanced interventional procedures for the treatment of heart disease.  Rehabilitation services are available at CHI Memorial Hospital Chattanooga for those with an elevated risk of a cardiac event and for those who have experienced a cardiac event.
