Dec. 17 Death Of 9-Month-Old Ruled Homicide

The death of a nine-month-old that occurred on Dec. 17 has been ruled a homicide, Chattanooga Police said.
 
This determination was made based on the Chattanooga Police Department's investigation and the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's report.
 
Chattanooga Police continue to investigate this homicide. 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call the Homicide Tip Line at 423-643-5100 or submit an anonymous tip via the Chattanooga PD Mobile App.
 
Police responded to a medical emergency call at 1020 West 37th St.
 
Upon arrival officers found a baby receiving CPR.
 
 Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the baby to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
