The Nancy Ward Chapter, NSDAR, provides community service continually throughout the year honoring American history by educational support for schools, conservation projects, preservation of landmarks, responding to community aid requests and participating in events honoring veterans.

Mary Word, Chapter Regent Linda Crawford, Lori Cook, Pam McConnell and Christy Torok assembled dozens of feminine products and cosmetic bags for underprivileged women, and packaging more than 100 hand knitted patriotic winter hats for veterans, to be provided at the annual Christmas Party at the Chattanooga ‘Charles H. Coolidge’ Veterans Clinic.

"The Daughters of the American Revolution is the largest women’s service organization in the world, recently achieving a million members," officials said.  Prospective members are invited to contact the Nancy Ward Chapter at nancywardchapter@gmail.com.
