VIDEO: Abe Zarzour And Baseball

Earl Freudenberg interviewed Abe Zarzour on June 16, 1988, at WDOD on Mr. Zarzour's 80th birthday. 

Mr. Zarzour died at 88 on April 6, 1997. He was a well-known Chattanooga business, sports and civic leader.

Mr. Zarzour owned and operated a restaurant at main and market streets for over 38 years and it was there that the late Harry Thornton gave him the name, "Mayor of Main Street.

His family still operates Zarzours Café on Rossville Avenue serving delicious meals.
