Dorothy Annelle “Dot” Bryson Couch, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, October 20, 2019 at a local hospital.

She was born June 28, 1938 in Dalton, Ga., a daughter of the late Bobby and Marie Whisenant Bryson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rayford S. Couch; and sister, DeEtte Kope.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Lorenda Couch of Rocky Face, Ga., Robert Couch of Dalton, Ga.; special friends, Gene Dugger of Eton, Ga., Midge Knight of Rocky Face, Ga.; and several other special friends.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dorothy Annelle “Dot” Bryson Couch will be held Friday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend A.J. Waters officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Oct. 24, from 5-9 p.m.
