Siskin Hospital’s DelGardo Elected New Head Of TPA

Gina M. DelGardo, Ph.D., has been elected president of the Tennessee Psychological Association. 

Dr. DelGardo is a clinical psychologist in Siskin Hospital’s Department of Behavioral Medicine. She has been a clinician for more than 25 years and has been with Siskin Hospital for more than a decade.    

TPA membership includes psychologist and psychological examiners. TPA’s purpose is "to advance psychology as a science, as a profession and as a means of promoting human welfare." TPA offers an annual conference to provide continuing education to providers of mental health services. TPA also offers ethical consultation to its professional members and legislative advocacy on a national and state level. TPA monitors legislation that can impact the profession and affect mental health services to Tennessee residents.
