Song Composed To Help Boost Effort To Place Wreaths On Every Grave At National Cemetery

  • Tuesday, November 19, 2019

A song has been written to help with the effort to help place a wreath on every grave at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Capt. Mickey McCamish, a leader in the effort, said, "When LST 325 was here, I spoke with Steve Dean and Don Goodman about composing a “Wreaths across Chattanooga” song to help increase the awareness of our efforts.

"Steve and Don have now composed the song.

The vocalist is Claudia “Bo” Cox, a Chattanooga Vet Center employee.

"Eventually, we will cover all graves at Chattanooga National Cemetery.."

As of Monday night, the group was at 8,599 wreaths.
