They join Mark Heinsohn, M.D., who will continue in his role as medical director for primary care, quality and clinical integration, and Lee Hamilton, M.D., who is the hospitalist medical director.

“Our vision is that these leaders will strengthen the integration of evidence-based practices in the ambulatory and acute care setting, initiate efforts to optimize quality, safety, and the patient experience in partnership with physicians and advanced practice clinicians to deliver superior value to the community,” says Glyn Hughes, president, CHI Memorial Medical Group.

As medical director for primary care, Dr. Jump will provide leadership for primary care practices (pediatrics, internal medicine and family practice) in the implementation of national, regional and local strategic operational and clinical practices. He will be accountable for all aspects of physician strategy and management of patient-centered quality initiatives, working collaboratively with nursing, advanced practice clinicians, clinical and administrative partners as they achieve "high-quality, high-value care." Dr. Jump will serve in a dyad relationship with the primary care operations directors.

As medical director for specialty care, Dr. Anderson will provide leadership for specialty practices (Arthritis and Rheumatology, Breast Care Associates, Center for Healthy Aging, Lung Care Associates, General Surgery, Thoracic Oncology, Urology, and Women’s Health) in the implementation of national, regional and local strategic operational and clinical practices.  He will promote clinical quality and patient-centered continuum within each medical specialty.  He will collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses and staff to create a culture of engagement and inclusion.
