Food City On Hixson Pike Recognized For Patriotism

The John Sevier Chapter of the Tennessee Society Sons of the American Revolution recognized the staff of the Food City Store at 5604 Hixson Pike for their exemplary patriotism in the display of the Flag of the United States of America.  The store was honored on Thursday morning. 

John Sevier Chapter President George Ison accompanied by Jim Moore of the chapter made the official presentation of the SAR’s “Flag Certificate” to Darrell Cox, assistant store manager, who represented his co-workers and company. 

The SAR seeks to honor businesses and individuals who continually demonstrate their patriotism through the display of our nation’s flag.
