Why Are The Lady Mocs Playing Northern Colorado?

Friday, November 29, 2019

The UTC Athletic Director was complaining in the TFP about the lack of support for Moc football and men and women's basketball games.

So at 1 p.m. the day before Thanksgiving the Lady Mocs play of all people, Northern Colorado. John Hunt said the "official," attendance was 1317 but in reality it was a lot less than that. I am sure all of four NC alumni who live in Chattanooga were in attendance.

I remember last year the Lady Mocs flew to Northern Colorado and played in front of about 750 fans.
When you factor in the travel costs and low attendance, how in the world can UTC justify a home and home series with Northern Colorado?
