Buzzi Unicem USA-Chattanooga Plant Holds 3rd Annual Health And Safety Fair

Buzzi Unicem USA – Chattanooga Plant held its third annual Health and Safety Fair on Oct. 30.

Over 90 employees and spouses had access to more than 30 vendors representing local health professionals, as well as the Hamilton and Marion County Health Departments. Flu shots, skin cancer screenings, allergy testing, free physicals and much more was available. Buzzi Unicem USA’s corporate HR and Benefits team were also on site to answer questions and give advice on how to get the most from their benefits package.

Health Professionals and other participants gave away free samples, free services and products in addition to over $6,000 worth of door prizes for attending employees supplied by the company’s generous business partners.

The company provided a coffee bar, breakfast, lunch and many snack options available free of charge to the employees as well as all of the medical and business professionals.

Officials said, "Through events such as our Health & Safety Fair, we can all work together toward the goal of helping our little corner of the world to enjoy healthier livesIt is without a doubt a goal that was not only met, but surpassed by leaps and bounds.
