All Lanes Close Sunday Night On Amnicola Highway After Pedestrian, Lakhbir Singhshergill, 45, Is Struck And Killed Near Pepsi Plant

All traffic lanes were temporarily closed on Amnicola Highway late Sunday night after a pedestrian, Lakhbir Singhshergill, 45, was struck and killed on Sunday night.

Chattanooga Police were notified of a traffic crash involving a pedestrian at 3459 Amnicola Highway. The CPD Traffic / DUI Division responded to the scene.
 
A Toyota driven by Max Turner was traveling south on Amnicola Highway when it made contact with a pedestrian traveling in a lane of traffic.
 
Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the pedestrian, Mr. Singhshergill deceased. 
 
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.  

Traffic was diverted to Wisdom Street and to the C.B. Robinson Bridge
