John “Jack” Michael Wallace, Sr., 78, of Chattanooga, passed away on May 19, 2019.
He was born on Aug. 16, 1940, in Queens, N.Y. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In his business career, Jack was an importer and supplier of raw fibers from Bangladesh and India and traveled extensively.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gerry; Daughter, Tricia Heider (Konrad); Son, John Wallace Jr. (Terry); Granddaughter, Regan Melton; brothers, Edward Wallace, Paul Wallace, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at noon on Thursday, May 23, at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Father Manuel Perez officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
