A four-story condo complex will be rising on a vacant lot at 1603 Long St.
The Form Based Code Committee on Thursday approved a variance so that it could be four stories instead of three.
Architect Craig Kronenberg said there is a four-story building nearby as well as a three-story.
He said parking for 27 vehicles will be on the ground floor with three stories of living space above.
There will be 24 condo units.
Mr. Kronenberg said the site will have extensive greenery, including some green roofs and a rain garden.
