Man, 23, Shot Early Monday Morning On Vinewood Drive

A man, 23, was shot early Monday Morning on Vinewood Drive.
 
At approximately 2:26 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a local hospital on a report of a person who showed up with a gunshot wound.
 
Upon arrival, police made contact with the victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The CPD Violent Crimes Unit was notified and responded.
 
The victim told investigators he was walking in the area of 3400 Vinewood Drive when he was approached by an unknown man with a gun. After a short struggle the gun went off. The victim ran off and realized he had been shot. He called a friend for a ride to the hospital.
