Carlton Fears, Sr., 69, passed away on September 16, 2019.
He was a 1968 graduate of Howard High School. Carlton was a veteran of the U.S. Army, employed at US Pipe and Foundry, Mueller Co. and Pilgrim’s Pride. He was a member of Nation of Islam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Fears, Sr., mother, Margaret (Edward) Parker; brothers, Johnny Mitchell, Alvin Parker.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Willis Fears; sons, Carlton Fears, Jr., Jumocka “Torey” Willis; sister, Elzenia Barnette; brothers, Paul (Josie) Fears, Herbert (Emilla) Parker; grandchildren, Car’darius Fears, Jr., Ju’Toreyia, Jumocka Willis, Jr., Jorden Starling; Aunt, Marilyn Moon, a host of relatives and friends.
Public viewing will begin after noon on Sunday, Sept. 22, the family will receive friends from 6–7 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, in the chapel. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
