Woman's Body Found In Wooded Area Of Cleveland Off McCann Drive On Wednesday Night

Cleveland Police Department investigators discovered the body of a deceased person in a wooden area off McCann Drive on Wednesday.
 
It has been determined that the body was that of a female.
A positive identification has not yet been made. The body is currently in the custody of the Medical Examiner’s Office. Upon results from the autopsy, confirmation of the identity will be made after the next of kin is notified.
 
Evidence collected from the scene leads Cleveland Police Department investigators to believe this death is a homicide and to conduct the investigation as such.
 
Based on this investigatory determination, it is vital to solicit assistance from the public regarding any information that could assist investigators in this case.
