Rodney Hood, 54, of Jasper, Tennessee died on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at his home.
A 1983 graduate of Marion County High School, he had a talent with gardening and especially loved planting and nurturing his flower gardens. He loved the Lord and worshiped as a member of the Mineral Springs Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bartley Jack & Lucille Hood and Charlie T. & Lillie Mae Collins, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his parents, Bart & Carolyn Hood of Jasper; sister, Kristy St. Clair of South Pittsburg; nephew, Cody St. Clair; niece, Halley St. Clair; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Mineral Springs Church of God at 1 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, Jan. 15, with Brother Corey Blevins, Brother Adam Ramsey, and Brother Rab Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at Glovers Hill Cemetery in Jasper.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Mineral Springs Church of God.
