Frank “Trey” Warren Thompson III
Frank “Trey” Warren Thompson III, 42, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Frances Maffetone; grandfathers, Joseph William Maffetone and Frank Warren Thompson; stepfather, James L. Orr; aunt, Mary Kathryn Maffetone; and uncle, Gary Oliver.
Trey is survived by his wife, Kelley Camp Thompson of Chattanooga; son, Tyler Lewis Thompson of Dalton; grandmother, Ivonene Thompson of Dalton; mother, Vickie Maffetone Orr of Ringgold; father, Wally (Holli) Thompson of Dalton; brother, Dylan Thompson of Dalton; stepfather, Mike Oric; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chris and Debbie Camp; aunts, Lana (Jim) Cambron and Cheryl Oliver all of Dalton; and uncles, Joe (Cheryl) Maffetone and Frank (Karen) Maffetone all of Dalton.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. at Rock Bridge Community Church with Pastor Matt Evans and Pastor Alfred Turley officiating. Pallbearers will be Mitch Oliver, Matt Oliver, Trevor Maffetone, Cole Maffetone, Jody Maffetone, Casey Carpenter, Zack Brock and Derek Houston.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Love Funeral Home.
