Dye, Richard Jackson, Jr. (Rock Spring)

Richard Jackson Dye Jr., 68, of Rock Spring, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

Richard’s career was in law enforcement where he retired with the Walker County Sheriff’s Department.

He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Dye; and brother, William Dye.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Dye; daughter, Brooke (Josh) Smith of Chickamauga; son, Richie (Diana) Dye of Ringgold; grandchildren, Ashton, Bryce, Chase, Alex, Sienna, Caden, Mason, Sarah, and Anna; sister, Ann Norton of Summerville; several nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law, Kelly Dye.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 22, from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

There will be no service.
