The Fight Begins

We didn't choose this. We didn't want this. This wasn't the plan.

The 2020 election didn't turn out the way most people expected. In Hamilton County, voters overwhelmingly chose to keep Donald Trump and his America First agenda, which has been shown to work. They chose his unity over Joe Biden’s division, his results over Biden’s inaction in 47 years.  Like it or not, Donald Trump gets things done. He has gotten more done in four years than Biden could ever have hoped to accomplish in almost half a century in Washington.

The liberal media have tormented Trump, ignored and distorted his accomplishments, and shown him in a 100 percent negative light for his entire term. Never in my lifetime have I seen such one-sided coverage.

They have deliberately misrepresented his words to paint him as a bigot. They have claimed his immigration policies are driven by racism, rather than a desire to protect our borders and ensure the orderly process of legal immigration.

They have relentlessly hammered this into the national psyche to where millions upon millions of Americans not only believe it but also believe racism animates all Trump supporters. Just remember there was a time in the recent past when both parties agreed that we must control our borders and prosecute illegal immigration.

Most of the charges against Trump are over-the-top outrageous. Joe Biden — who the media characterize as a nice, harmless fellow — has portrayed Trump as a racist and has said Trump is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans from COVID-19, when President-Elect Biden’s own past statements on race are incredibly questionable and his COVID-19 Policy almost exactly follows the Trump Plan, with the exception of the draconian national mask mandate, based on faulty science.

Anyone with a smidgeon of intellectual integrity knows that charges against the President are patently absurd.

If you want healing, stop calling us haters and bigots simply because we strongly disagree with you on policies. Quit suppressing our speech, and quit canceling us from culture. Most of all, quit pretending your calls for unity are anything other than a demand that we surrender to your radical agenda.

That's not going to happen, because we believe your policies would devastate this nation and transform its fundamental character. We don't intend to resist you as a matter of revenge but because we believe your ideas are destructive. We must be personally cordial and civil, but let's quit indulging the fantasy that we can unify on policy, as our visions couldn't be more opposite.

So the fight begins. We must stand up for our values, our beliefs and our America. We must respect others, however we must fight for good and right, because that is what America is built on. America is built on values of hard work, ethics and integrity and we cannot allow radical Democrats to destroy all the Founding Fathers worked for to create these United States. We must fight with every step, though not with hate or division. We must oppose policies that are detrimental to America and our values and cooperate on policies which will aid the advancement of freedom

America is in a crisis. Her destiny is on the line, and she will survive only if we still love her.

A battle rages in the streets, in academia, in the culture and in the hearts and minds of the American people over whether America was and remains a good and great nation.

And if we fight hard enough, speak loud enough,  we will win.
