Terenia Sisk Mumpower, 53, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away at UAB Hospital on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. 

Terenia was born in Chattanooga and graduated from Hixson High School. She was a certified EMT for over 20 years and enjoyed her career helping people. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her dad, James Edward Sisk.

Survivors include her husband, Barry Mumpower; sons, William Jameson (Brittany Chavarria) Mumpower and Michael David Mumpower; mother, Patricia Ann Sisk; sisters, Janet Lynn (Brian) Spangler and Cynthia Lynn Jones; mother-in-law, Joann Patrick Mumpower; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 2-5 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The family will have a private burial service. 

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.

Human Remains Found In Walker County
