Edward E. Turner, 87, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020.

 

Edward was born in Kensington, Ga., on Oct. 21, 1932, to the late Noel and Lillie Turner. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, having served in Vietnam and Thailand as well as many other assignments.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife, Barbara S. Turner; son, Randall Turner; and brother, George Golden.

 

Survivors include his son, Ron Turner and wife, Teresa; son, Darrell Turner and wife, Janae; grandchildren, Sean Turner (Stephanie), Eric Turner, and Jennifer Turner; and great-grandson, Cary Turner.

 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 11, from 4-7 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson.

 

The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 12, at 11 a.m. with full military honors. Interment will be private in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

 

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
