Carolyn Ervin
Carolyn Ervin, 79, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
Carolyn was a faithful member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene for 79 years. She loved cooking for everyone, singing all the time, and taking care of all family members children as well as any neighborhood children. She always made sure the children were fed while they were in her care, as well as feeding the neighborhood cats. She was an all-inclusive daycare, where she had a revolving door for anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl “Gene” Ervin; father, Claude Cornelison; mother, Catherine Bilbra; daughter, Rhonda Bliar; and step-father, Calvin Crabtree.
She is survived by her sons, Michael E. Ervin, Mark T. Ervin; sister, Barbara Miller; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gary Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
