2 Month Road Closure On Georgia Avenue At Patten Parkway Begins Friday

The Chattanooga Department of Transportation announces that, beginning Friday, Georgia Avenue will be closed between E. Martin Luther King Boulevard and E. 8th Street for two months.

Southbound Georgia Avenue will detour via E. 7th Street and Market Street. Northbound Georgia Avenue will detour via Market Street and E. 8th Street.

The south side of Patten Parkway will remain closed while the north side will dead end at Georgia Avenue and host two-way traffic off of Lindsay Street.
