Twenty years ago the Democrats admitted their voters in Florida weren't smart enough to read a Butterfly ballot (designed by Democrats). Recently they tell us their voters aren't smart enough to obtain a photo ID.
Now to top everything the Georgia branch of the American Criminal Lobbies Union and the Black Voters Count group have determined a 55 cent postage stamp is a poll tax. Or in other words our voters aren't smart enough to know how to buy a postage stamp. What about the gas one uses to drive to the polls? Is that a tax too?
As a reminder the poll tax and literacy test were devices created by White Southern Democrats to keep black people from voting. As one who lived in Georgia for 25 years I would not oppose the literacy test being re-imposed.
