Barking Legs Hosts Drive-in Dances Saturday

  • Tuesday, May 12, 2020

Barking Legs will host Drive-in Dances on Saturday at 8:45 p.m. Tickets are $25 per car.

Barking Legs founder Ann Law has come up with an innovative way to present a live performance while maintaining social distancing guidelines. What about using the model of drive-in movies of old? Bring the family in your car, park in a safe spot, then enjoy the show.

Tower Construction generously and enthusiastically donated the use of their grassy lot at 14th Street and Dodds Avenue (just south of Barking Legs), and some of Chattanooga's dancers jumped at the chance to participate.

They'll be performing to some of the greatest, most iconic film and TV music ever, including themes from spaghetti Westerns, Taxi Driver, Twin Peaks, Alfred Hitchcock and much more.

Guests may listen from their vehicle by tuning to 88.1 where Richard Winham of WUTC will broadcast live.

In order to maintain social distancing, purchases need to be made in advance, and guests are asked to not leave their vehicles for the duration of this 45 minute performance. Enter from 14th Street at the marked entry and let the parking team direct you to a spot.
