Lee softball senior Brooklynn Frazier has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District team, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Frazier, the pride of Heritage High School in Ringgold, Ga., hit .266, slugged a team best .516 and delivered four home runs, four doubles and 17 RBI over 23 games in 2020. She also carried a 3.89 GPA as a Health Science major.
Academic All-District selections will advance to the All-American ballot, and the Academic All-Americans will be announced in June.
"This is quite an honor for Brooklynn and she is so deserving.
She has dedicated herself to both her sport and academics during her time at Lee," said Lee head coach Emily Russell. "She is a true student athlete and I'm very proud of all she has accomplished so far and what she will continue to accomplish in her doctoral program beginning in the fall."
