Jimmy Owens of Newport, Tn., continued to stay red hot Tuesday night at Golden Isles Speedway at Brunswick, Ga., as the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model series kicked back off Speedweeks 2.0 for the first of three $7,000 to win races on the south Georgia coast.

Owens in the # 20 "Reece Monument, Boomtest Well Service, Redbone Fishing & Rental, Redline Oil, Power Rig, Tommy Pope Construction, RhinoAg, Keyser Manufacturing" sponsored Ramirez Motorsports/Vic Hill powered / Rocket race car waited til a lap 28 restart to power past leader Brandon Overton #76 of Evans, Ga.

Overton came back hard leaning on Owens, but the "O-Show" proved too stout and ran away for his sixth win of 2020.

Overton would fall to third at the muscle of Mason Zeigler (Pa.). West Virginia's Josh Richards was 4th and Ohio's Devin Moran rounded out the Top 5 behind Owens.

Night two takes place Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. EST on Lucas Oil TV and on Facebook Live.
