Judy “Mamaw” Goforth
Judy “Mamaw” Goforth, 71, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Goforth, Jr.; special friend, Harry Halliday; grandson, Jeremy Lee Goforth; and brothers and sisters.
Judy was a member of City View Church of God and was a loving, strong and feisty mother and grandmother who will be missed.
She is survived by her children, Robert Lee Goforth (Debra), Rocky Lane Goforth, Shelia Renae Goforth (Leeann Edwards), and Rhonda Lynn Goforth; grandchildren, Jessica Ledford (Jericho), Leslie Goforth, Zach Goforth (Jessica), Lynn Goforth, Tyler Goforth, Amber Bramlett, Christina Morrison and Kara Sumner; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Joshua Ledford; more grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, at 5 p.m. at City View Church of God. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, June 11, from 4-5 p.m.
