Just The Facts Please

As we continue to plod through the new “normal” here’s some numbers that I have been able to come up with.

Information provided by The Atlantic / https://covidtracking.com/data  as of 6/30/20.

Total test performed in the United States and Territories:  32,206,245.

Total positive results: 2,621,831.

Total deaths attributed to Covid-19:  120,336.

As we break that down into percentages, 8 percent of those tested have been confirmed with the virus, and if it is as virulent as they say, that number should be substantially higher.
And for some reason I can not find cumulative information on anti-body testing.

Of those affected, the mortality rate is 5 percent, and as we have been told, those who have succumbed to Covid-19 most have been elderly and those with underlying conditions. And if we remove New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois, we actually get the mortality rate to 4 percent. Oh, that’s another issue of sending Covid-positive patients to nursing homes.

Now if we take into consideration that even in pre-Corona years, that the average numbers of deaths in the United States is 8,000 per day and conservatively we can say we have been in this “crisis” for 90 days, that would mean that we would be at 720,000 deaths.

So folks, as we digest the truth of numbers, why in the world have we done this to ourselves? We are being told that we are now seeing “spikes,” but the problem with that is hospitalizations and the mortality rates are declining. Oh, but let me answer my previous question ... President Donald Trump.

Those with animosity because of the threat to their kingdoms and powers have brain washed a multitude of numb-minded individuals that the “Orange Man Bad” and the United States is evil, all to provide cover for their injustices.

So now we are being told we have to return to the fear mongering of sheltering in place for this “next wave?"

Come on people, wake up!
