Elect Tom Decosimo

Monday, July 13, 2020

As early voting in Hamilton County is about to begin, we should take careful note of the positions held by all those running for school board, regardless of district. Views held by those elected to office affect all residents of Hamilton County not just your district alone. That is why I support the election of Tom Decosimo for the District 2 seat on the Hamilton County School Board.

Tom grew up here in a respected local family that has contributed much to the growth and improvement of Hamilton County. Tom is a valued business leader with knowledge and experience in finance and management. In this time of uncertainty we need him on the school board.

We don’t need our schools to be damaged by the suspension of civilization now happening across our nation. We need maturity, stability and unity of purpose to provide the best education for all Hamilton County students. Our schools need to provide the services and training for each student to achieve their fullest potential. Our graduates can then be responsible citizens who carry on the American ideals and knowledge which made our nation great.

Tom understands local needs and local resources. A man of his integrity will also give added credibility to the decisions that affect our most precious resource, our children and grandchildren.

Because Tom makes no secret of being a conservative, the opposition claims he would somehow take the schools backward. They say his opponent would take us forward. If that means his opponent is a progressive, we’ve seen where that path leads. Tom can help our schools make progress without adopting what are called progressive ideals.

We need Tom’s conservative values voiced on the Hamilton County School Board. Please vote for Tom Decosimo in District 2.
