Nehemiah Project To Pack 6,500 Backpacks Saturday

Area volunteers are needed to stuff 6,500 backpacks on Saturday for Nehemiah Project. 

In culmination of months of planning and preparation, the Nehemiah Project, in partnership with Hamilton County Schools, United Way, the Salvation Army, and many area non-profits and businesses have joined together to insure that students are prepared to go back to school.  

Backpacks will be delivered in a safe, no contact, event that will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8.

The packing will occur at the Salvation Army Warehouse at 5000 Calhoun Ave. Socially distanced shifts will begin at 9 a.m. and will continue throughout the day.
