Roy Smith
Roy Smith, Jr., 73, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020, in a local hospital.
He attended Booker T. Washington High School and Hope City Church. Roy was employed with Shaw Industries as a forklift driver.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Goins.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Effie Smith; son, Eddie Worbington of Chattanooga;
daughter, Reda Miller of Fort Oglethorpe; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren;
brothers; sisters; uncles; aunts; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, July 11, at 3 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Walker as the eulogist.
