An Alternative To Costly Adoptions

  • Monday, August 10, 2020

I applaud the Galloways for raising nearly $50,000 to adopt a baby. Years ago, a couple came to me and asked if I would help them adopt a baby. At that time, Chattanooga still had one abortion clinic operating (since 1993, there have been none). I said I would help, and I made a sign that read: "My Husband and I Will Adopt Your Baby." The husband and wife took turns standing out at the abortion clinic. In five months, they adopted a baby.

About 800,000 babies a year have their lives brutally snuffed out inside the four walls of an abortion clinic. By contrast, there are only about 135,000 adoptions every year, and yet, more than 2 million couples would love to hold a little adopted baby in their arms.

Making an appeal at the abortion clinics of America will still work.
