Multiple Ways To Give To Children’s Hospital At Erlanger In September

  • Monday, August 31, 2020

Two Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals campaigns kick off this week to support the local not-for-profit, CMN Hospital, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. The CMN Round Up the Change campaign at area Love’s Travel Stops locations begins Monday, and the well-known Miracle Balloon campaign begins at Costco on Tuesday.

This year, the Love’s Travel Stops Round Up the Change campaign includes the option to donate digitally on card purchases. The campaign runs until Oct. 3 at local Love’s Travel Stops. To participate, customers can round their purchases to the nearest dollar amount and donate that change to their local CMN Hospital, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. In 2019, local Love’s Travel Stops raised over $44,000 for Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. All locally-raised funds will support Children’s Hospital at Erlanger’s efforts to continue to provide specialized, pediatric care to the region.

Beginning Tuesday, Costco will kick off their annual CMN Miracle Balloon campaign. Customers can donate by purchasing a CMN Hospitals balloon icon at checkout through Sept. 30. In 2019, Costco raised over $36,000 for Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.

“We are very thankful for our incredible community partners and the support from our neighbors,” said Stefanie Wittler-Beavers, Erlanger Health System Foundations’ CMN Hospitals liaison. “Community support enables the exceptional doctors at Children’s Hospital to continue growing to meet the needs of our patients.”

As a not-for-profit hospital, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger depends on the support of generous donors and organizations in the region, including Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals programs like the Miracle Balloon icon sales and Love’s Travel Stops Round Up the Change campaign. These donations have helped provide specialty care and equipment at the region’s only children’s hospital. Currently, these funds will support the creation of the new Pediatric MRI Center at Kennedy Outpatient Center.
