CoCo Bosman To Join Mocs' Tennis Roster In Fall 2021

University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis head coach Chad Camper announced the addition of Coco Bosman to the program today.  A native of Baarn, Utrecht, in the Netherlands, Bosman will officially join the team in the Fall of 2021.

 

"The team is really going to benefit with the addition of Coco," stated head coach Chad Camper.  "Not only is Coco a great player, but she is also a great student.  She has a broght future ahead, both on and off the court here at UTC."

 

Bosman currently trains at BK Tennis with former Dutch Davis Cup captain Tjerk Bogtstra, a certified KNLTB federation coach.  She has been ranked as high as No.

4 in her age group in the Netherlands.

 

A participant in the first divisions in both the Dutch and Swedish club leagues, Bosman reached the doubles finals of an ITF Grade 4 in Sweden prior to the ITF COVID-19 shutdown in March.  She also advanced to the quarterfinals in the U16 national tournament.

 

She is the daughter of Christa and Amo Bosman, and has a younger sister Pippa and a younger brother Adriaan.  She currently attends the International School Hilversum in Hilversum, Noord-Holland.  A well-rounded athlete, Bosman also has participated in hockey, soccer, basketball and track & field.
