Lois Vaughn
Lois Vaughn, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Estelle Franklin; sisters, Polly Pritchard, Bernice Stewart and Betty Ann Gowin; and brother, Bud Franklin.
She was a member of Dalton Church of God.
Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, Alvin Vaughn of the residence; daughter, Debra Hasty of Dalton; three sons, Michael Vaughn and Tim Vaughn both of Dalton and Craig Vaughn of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Elden Hasty, Charlie Hall, Justin Hasty, Ryan Vaughn, T.J. Vaughn, Waylon Hasty and Jade Soto; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Talley officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
Burial will be at United Memorial Gardens.
