Wesley Norwood, 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, in Chattanooga. 

He was of the Baptist faith. As a youth, he attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church and most recently attended New City Fellowship. Wesley was an extremely talented neighborhood basketball player. He had a passion for both, basketball and football.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Oliver Norwood Sr. and Minnie Norwood; brothers, Oliver Norwood Jr., and Willie Whaley; niece, Michelle Norwood.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Wesley Norwood and Kiston Norwood; sisters, Sandra Jones of Kingsland, Georgia, Hattie Norwood, and JoAnn Whaley; brothers, Eddie Norwood and Tommy (Wanda) Norwood; cousin, Freddie Jones; special friends, Johnnie Parsons and Jeffery Bonds.

Public viewing will be from 9–11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31, at the funeral home. A private family funeral service will be held.
