Now that the dimwits are creating a precedent for impeaching former Presidents, how about LBJ? In October of 64 in a campaign speech he said, We will not send American boys to Southeast Asia to do the job Asian boys should be doing."
At that time we had 1,500 advisors in Southeast Asia. Four years later we had 550,000 boys in Asia doing, as LBJ said, the job Asians boys should be doing. Fifty-eight thousand young Americans, boys and girls, eventually gave their life in service to our country. Later we learned LBJ and Defense Secretary Strange McNamara never ever thought we could win the war they sent our troops off to. If this isn't treason I would like to know what is.
I understand that LBJ is dead. However there is another precedent to trying a politician that has passed away. Oliver Cromwell in England was exhumed three years after his death and his bones sent to the guillotine. I think that would be an appropriate punishment for LBJ.
