Preston Barry Jackson, 70, of Cleveland, passed away October 13, 2021 at his residence in Cleveland. He was born on May 6, 1951, in Haralson, Ga. Barry enjoyed fishing, crosswords puzzles, woodworking, football, family and a had true love for the Waffle House. He was loved by all who knew him; he was a special, caring and compassionate man.
Barry is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Nellie Jo Cash; and two sisters, Patricia Pollom and Charlotte Raynor.
Those left to cherish the memories are sister, Judy (Ray) Retzlefff; nieces, Justine Pollom, Maria (Dale) Foreman, Sandra (Terry) Hood and Angela (Lance) McConnell; nephews, Scott Retzleff, Daryl Longrey, Corey (Lisa) Pollom, Jerry (Jennifer) Raygor and Eric Raygor; 11 great-nieces and -nephews; and nine great-great-nieces and -nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 20 from 3-6 p.m., with a service at 6 p.m. following the visitation at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
