Erlanger Supply Chain has been named a 2021 ECRI Healthcare Supply Chain Achievement Award winner.
The Healthcare Supply Chain Achievement Award recognizes members who "demonstrate exemplary utilization of services across the procurement lifecycle including budgeting, benchmarking, technology assessment and strategic development."
As part of the selection process, ECRI evaluated candidates’ 2021 spend management and market analytics efforts for capital medical devices, supplies, physician preference items, service contracts and reagents.
“I could not be more proud of our entire Supply Chain team’s resilience during the extremely challenging last 18 months,” said Jeff Loy, senior director of Supply Chain at Erlanger.
“In the midst of ongoing supply chain disruptions around the world, to be recognized nationally speaks volumes of our team’s hard work and support of Erlanger’s mission.”
Erlanger’s Supply Chain Team is responsible for the broad scope of procurement services for the Erlanger enterprise, managing over $380 million spent annually.
Lynn DeJaco, Erlanger’s chief financial officer, said, “The dedication of this team to consistently deliver what is needed to provide the best care possible for our patients is second to none. This team has risen to the challenge during a global pandemic and has consistently, effectively and creatively managed our procurement process while remaining fiscally responsible.”
