Judy Maureen Hodges went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2021, at her home in Rossville, Tennessee. She was born on Feb. 24, 1952, in Birmingham, Alabama to Horace and Athala Heflin.

Judy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful Momma to her sweet little Foxie. She enjoyed spending time with her great-grandson, Nolan, reading and watching her shows.

Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by her mother and father, Horace and Athala Heflin; her sisters, Barbara Stidham and Mary Heflin; and her brothers, Gary Heflin and Jerry Heflin.

Judy was survived by her loving husband, who loved her from first sight and throughout the 53 years of marriage, Ronald Hodges; daughters, Dr. Julie Henderson and Samantha Porter; grandson, Tyler and his wife, Alexis; great=grandson Nolan; sister, Bonnie Plymal; and brothers, Ricky, Wayne and Rex.

Her life will be honored and celebrated with a service on Tuesday, Nov. 30. The service will be held at Companion Funeral Home at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. the day of the service. She will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Gardens South, in Rossville, Georgia.
