Inflation is at the highest level in the U.S. in 40 years which was the end of the disastrous reign of Jimmy Carter, D-Ga.
Progressive “economists” and spin doctors will struggle round the clock to fabricate a story blaming it on Trump. Next it will be tested before numerous focus groups before being downloaded to Biden’s teleprompter for a “monumental” speech designed to calm fears of runaway inflation before Christmas time.
The left always blames someone when their schemes go awry. Before Trump it was George W Bush and before him it would have been Ronald Reagan’s “voodoo economics” plaguing American workers. That was when Democrats claimed to represent workers not the entitlement class they created and champion today.
Still earlier before Reagan, Richard Nixon was the goat and when I was a kid I heard the Democrats in my family often blame Herbert Hoover when something went wrong. It didn’t matter that Hoover had been out of office for twenty years.
Does anyone see a pattern in this? Go after people not institutions (Saul Alinsky, 13 Rules for Radicals). Progressives don’t hesitate making up the nastiest of stories like the one in Chicago or the Russia Collusion. These tricks worked for them in the past, so why change now?
