Peak, William "Bill" John (Old Fort)

William (Bill) John Peak, 79, of Old Fort, passed away November 29, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 29, 1942, in Greasy Creek to K.R. and Flora Peak. He loved a variety of things like woodworking, music, old cars, animals, his cabin and, most of all, his family.

Bill is survived by spouse, Marie; son, William, Jr. (Kim) Peak; daughters, Rosella Peak, Margarita (Jim) Clewett and Loretta (Jeff) Cooper; children by love, Chuck (Denise) Greer, Timothy (Missy) Greer and Keith(Tracy) Greer; brother, Kermit (Linda) Peak; sister, Wilma Jean (Maurice) Hall; and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents, K.R. and Flora; a brother; three sisters; and first wife, Margie Gates.

The family will receive friends at Beech Springs Baptist Church on Friday, Dec. 3 from 5-7 p.m., with a funeral service following visitation, with Bro. Jerry Herron officiating. Interment will be at Dill Cemetery on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 3 p.m.
