John Lee Dalton, 67, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, received his healing from his pain and suffering from cancer Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

He was the son of the late Glen “Shorty” and Irene Dalton and was also preceded in death by his brother, Roy Dalton; and grandparents, John Rufus Dalton, Lillie and Hoarse Hitson and Rev. J.C. and Lissie James.

He is survived by his son, Adam Lee Dalton; three grandchildren, Dakota, Blake and Jaden Dalton; brother, George David Dalton; sisters, Joyce Moats, Peggy Prock and Sharon Bowers, all of Cleveland; special life-long friend Tony Choate and a host of friends.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Friday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Rev. Chuck Peels officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset memorial gardens with military honors.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
