Darlene McKee
Darlene McKee, age 73, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at a local hospital.
She was born April, 2, 1947 in Fannin County, Ga., a daughter of the late Arvil and Della Dunn Sosebee. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew McKee.
She was a member of Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford McKee of the residence; sons, Randy McKee and his wife Trisha of Huntsville, AL, Chris McKee and his girlfriend Pamela Roberson of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Liz Sosebee of TX, Danny and Nell Sosebee of Charlotte, NC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Willadean and Jerry Bartenfield of Calhoun, GA, Carolyn and Milton Roberts of Bowling Green, KY, Joan and Kenny Long of Dalton, GA, Lisa Cochran of Chatsworth, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Darlene McKee will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19.
Due to the national health crisis and the COVID-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
