Erlanger Women’s Services announces the 2021 Women’s Health Updates webinar series, a quarterly webinar series addressing a more contemporary view on women’s health topics beginning on Thursday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m. featuring Dr. Richard G. Moore discussing novel approaches to pelvic mass focusing on risk assessment and management.
Dr. Moore is the director of gynecologic Oncology Division at the University of Rochester and director of the targeted therapeutics laboratory for gynecologic cancers.
He is a leading expert on the use of biomarkers to detect ovarian cancer and led the team that developed the risk of ovarian malignancy algorithm (ROMA), a test that is cleared to access ovarian cancer in women with an ovarian cyst or pelvic mass.
The 2021 Women’s Health Updates webinar series is a continuing medical education opportunity that will delve into a series of topics to include gynecology, urologic gynecology and gynecologic oncology, obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, minimally invasive gynecology surgery as well as ambulatory medicine.
Additionally, the 2021 Women’s Health Updates webinar series will also serve as a kick-off of the Southeastern OBGYN Foundation and the Chattanooga OBGYN Alumni Foundation. These foundations aim to fund education and research in women’s health in the southeastern region.
