  • Wednesday, March 31, 2021

Five Bryan College Engineering students have been chosen to receive multiple scholarships during Engineering Week (E Week) recently. These scholarships were organized by the Chattanooga
E Week Committee (http://www.chattanoogaengineersweek.com/). Each scholarship was funded and awarded in conjunction with the Chattanooga Regional Manufacturers Association and the Chattanooga Chapter of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).

Each of the five scholarships are worth $500, and they were awarded to students: Tayler Forstmann, Russell Green, Lyle Smith, Peyton Lawyer and Julia Martin.

Each student had to write an application letter explaining their future plans in the engineering world, and how they are focusing on their academics now.

"These students were strong candidates due to their diligence in the classroom their excellence in their pursuits outside of it," officials said. "We are proud of all of their hard work and accomplishments."
